Larry, you are making my day... no! My decade! I have been searching like a crazy woman for the parents of Joseph Meyers. This was my first query that I found where you answered April 7, 2004. I have not known who they were for sure but was pretty certain that Joseph was a brother to Catherine, (Kate) who married Levi Nedrow. I have tons of information on the Shultz family since beginning this hunt. I didn't even know my great grandmother's maiden name until last year some time. I learned it was SHULTZ. I only knew that they came from Penn Dutch country. I married into the SCHULTZ family so hubby calls me cousin now! Anyway, I am of the Clarissa/Peter,Jacob/Michael line of Shultz'. Please share your family.
Joseph Meyers always said that he and his parents were born in PA. He served in the Civil War in a PA Heavy Artillery Unit. He and Clarissa are both buried in Frontier Co, Curtis Cemetery. Love to hear from you.
