I did some more checking in the Rulo cemetery records.
The first burial was in 1857. Many graves aren't marked. Also many stones are no longer readable. Records prior to 1935 are believed to have burned.
The Betts' graves are most likely in the Rulo cemetery based on the newspaper reports. I checked the cemetery records for Hergesheimer, but there are none listed. Hergesheimer was a well-known name in early Rulo so there are probably family burials there. I'll check for Robert Hergesheimer's obituary next time I'm at the library.
Charles A. Hergesheimer was an early newspaperman in Rulo. He was a "typographical devil" for the first Rulo newspaper - The Rulo Western Guide, published 1858 - 1861. Later he was the editor of Rulo's Nebraska Register in 1866. In 1880, he was working as a bookkeeper. The census for that year shows Elizabeth Betts living with them.
