Here is another one. My 2nd ggrandparents, Charles Hergesheimer and Elizabeth Ida Betts (daughter of Rev. Thomas and Elizabeth Betts) also lived in rulo. Their oldest son Robert drowned in the river. I have a newspaper article telling about it from The Falls City Journal 23 June 1881. There is no burial record for him either. While you are checking newspapers could you also look for one that tells where Robert was buried. I think he was probably buried with Thomas. I would really like to know if they are all three still there so I can put up some kind of a marker for them.
