Hello Cousin & Merry Christmas,

While this wonít directly help with your search for immediate relatives, it puts you in touch with a distant cousin.

For the past 3 months I have been adding to the information I recently acquired from the Patchen/Patchin archives. I am more then happy to share what I have found with you. I've been systematically working down parallel lines of my Great Great Grandmother Jerusha Patchin b Sept 10, 1790 to Josiah Patchin and stumbled on your note here while trying to determine the location of Aspinwall Nebraska.

Jerusha Patchin is the grand Aunt to Hannah Rose Van Blarcum and I am Hannah's 2nd Cousin twice removed. That would make your father and me 4th Cousins through your Gandmother Emily Etta (Gilbert) McCandless. This would make you and me 4th cousins once removed.

Aspinwall was the 1930 residence of Gilbert and Belva McCandless the family I was researching when I stopped to write you this note. Canít help but feel that there was a power at work here that has brought us together at this moment in time.
For Albert and Emily I have four children Gilbert, Gertrude, Gail and Genevieve.
For Gilbert and Belva I have four children Arlin R, Gilbert, Marilyn R and Unknown (F).
My guess is that if this is your family you are the unknown in my search. Born sometime after 1930.

I look forward to hearing from you.

F John Buck
