William H. and Eliza J. Pugh in Nemaha County

I found William H. and Eliza J. Pugh in Village of Sheridan, Nemaha County, NE 1880 Census with the following children:
1. Charles born Illinois 2. James born Iowa and 3. Elmer born NE -- at least that's what the spelling looks like.

But then when I check the 1885 Census, it had Eliza Pugh with James and Eloner (I believe that this is the same child as Elmer in the 1880 Census. They are located in
Village of Auburn, Nemaha County, NE. Where is William H. Pugh and their son Charles?

I had read a story about a fire at the William and Eliza
Pugh's new home -- Charley lit the fire and his sister
who was two years old caught fire and died within a few days. Does anyone have any further information about this story -- date of event, daughter's name, her birth and death date and place of burial?

Did Eliza J. Pugh die in Nebraska? What happened to the sons?

William H. Pugh married Jane Williamson in 1888 in Iowa;
he and his second wife died in Iowa.

Need information about his first wife and family.
