We are informed by a newspaper clipping and a letter from Morgie GRAHAM, that the Iowa 51st expects to start for Manilla from San Francisco about July 15. Recently the 51st drilled in the presence of a large concourse of people, and were pronounced the best drilled regiment in California. James KELLEY, Ralph GRENAWALT, Morgie GRAHAM and John RITTER are all in the 51st. Race KENT is also in San Francisco in the 20th Kansas. We have two excellent and newsy letter from W. B. KELLEY to his folks, which we have received permission to publish and will accordingly appear next week. Winfred is in good spirits, willing and anxious to go to Cuba, Porto (sic) Rico or Spain, in his country's service. He is getting accustomed to the hardships and privations of a soldier's life, and knows what it is to go hungry when the "meat is not as fresh as it might be." He and Willie BLAIR are well and on duty. Sick headache, biliousness, constipation, and all liver and stomach troubles can be quickly cured by using those famous little pills known as De Witt's Little Early Risers. They are pleasant to take and never gripe. C. H. BARROWS. "Sherm" WIGHTMAN writes to his relatives here under date of June 26 from Tacoma, Washington, in which he delicately breaks the news int he following laconic vein. "I write a few lines to let you know that us four are all well. James William WIGHTMAN came to our house last sunday(sic), June 19. He weighs 10 pounds and measures 24 inches in length. He grows about an inch every time he stretches. He is long, slim and hungry and every time he wakes from a five hours nap he goes for the fountain of life until he stretches out like a tick." Stop drugging yourself with quack nostrums or "cures". Get a well-known pharmaceutical remedy that will do the work. Catarrh and cold in the head will not cause suffering if Ely's Cream Balm is used. Druggist will supply 10c trial size or 50c full size. We mail it. Ely Bros, 55 Warren St., N. Y. City.
