Looking for any information on the Heerten family of Hanover, Germany. The family had eight children, father Silas Heerten. The fifth child, Eilert, sailed from Bremen to the U.S. in 1869 on the vessel "New York", and settled in Illinois, then Keya Paha County, Nebraska.
Looking for any info at all on any part of the family.
Eilert married Amke Rademaker, also born in Germany, in 1871. They had five children: John, Richard, Frank, Edward, and Bessie.
