The Chariton Leader, Chariton, Iowa
Saturday, April 20, l878

Major C.T. HASKINS and lady departed from our city on Monday evening last destined for their new home -- Chariton, Iowa, where he has engaged in the lumber business. MR. HASKINS has been in business in this city for a number of years and we take pleasure in commending him to the good people of Chariton as an enterprising citizen, excellent business man and representing considerable capital. He has our best wishes for a success. MRS. H. has been an active member of the woman's Christian Temperance Union since its organization in this city, and her removal is deeply regretted by the ladies of Tecumseh.

-- Tecumseh (Neb.) Chieftain.
