Royal NE, Field, Hering, Pleasant Valley Cemetery

I'm trying to trace a line and having immeasurable difficulty with it.

My grandmother, Helen Hering, had a grandmother named Ida Field (who married Julius Hering). Before my grandmother passed away, she had spent some time doing family history research. She wrote that Ida Field's parents, Anna/Hannah Kimball and Edward Field, were buried in Pleasant Valley Cemetery, northwest of Royal, and that these parents had settled in the Pleasant Valley area.

Does anybody have any kind of information that spoke of Ida's parents? I have only that Hannah/Anna was born in New York abt 1831-1834, and the Edward was born in England. One page online had him as 35 in 1860, but I found something for an Edward Field, from England, who was 28 in 1850 (and the writing is very clear--I've tried finding the 1860 Census in Ancestry.com but this particular one isn't indexed and I would have 300 pages to filter through...) Those 5's and 8's are often mistaken so I think it may be the same Edward Field (how many Edward Fields would have come over from England and worked on farms?)

I'm looking for absolutely anything, obituary, mention in the paper, mention in letters, anything!

Thanks!

Daisy
