Original documents of interest.

I have some wonderful and original old documents belonging to Paul Marshall (b. 04/24/1903 at Kansas, d. 01/26/1981 at Los Angeles, CA) and his family who resided in Nebraska and California. I have been in contact with the descendant of Paul Marshall, who was given priority to obtain these documents, and there does not seem to be an interest. So, I am offering them to anyone who is interested. I am asking reimbursement for the items. Please contact me at wallygreen@juno.com for more detailed information. I want genealogists to have priority at obtaining these documents, but in a month or two, I plan to put the documents up for auction on E-Bay. If interested in a photocopy of the documents, I will supply them for a small fee.

The original documents are:

Metropolitan Life Insurance Co. receipts to John W. Marshall dated 13 Jul 1910 and Sept 10, 1918, at Kansas.

WW I personal letter with postage canceled envelope to “Dear Little Sister,” from “Ox” return address, Camp Perry, Great Lakes, ILL and addressed to Horton, Kansas, dated Aug 14, 1918.

Receipt for First Payment to John W. Marshall for purchase of property at Horton Kansas dated
1/1/1912.

Personal letter with postage canceled envelope to Addie McCall from from friend, Zola, dated Jan. 22, 1913, Muskogee, Okla.

Personal letter with potage canceled envelope to “Dear Wife Mike,” (Addie Marshall), from “China,” dated Mar 4, 1917.

Who, When, Where, and What? A Book of Questions and Answers, by Josephine Headen, Little Blue Book No. 1255, edited by E. Haldeman-Julius. I am not a collector or dealer, but this undated paper cover book (measure 3 ˝" x 5") is very old, and may be an issue to military personnel during WW I or WWII.

Receipts to Mrs. Dean Marshall for the purchase of a White Sewing Machine from Mrs. Betteridge dated Oct. 4, 1928, Los Angeles, Calif.

Citizens Trust and Savings Bank book, Los Angeles, CA, for Paul Marshall or Deane Marshall with entries dated 1928-1929.

1934 Calif. Automobile “Pink Slip” and registration for 1924 Studebaker 6 Coupe, owner, Paul Marshall, Los Angeles, Calif.

Receipts (3) for Long Beach Bath House, Calif. and Amusement Co., 201 W. Pike, Long Beach, signed by J. Edward Malone, Metro Health Institute, dated 1936, 1937, & 1938.

WW II, War Ration Book Four issued to Lonetah Ulsh, 1149 1/2 Firestone Blvd, Los Angeles, Calif
