Not of my lines, but there is a Kinnicutt family in Ohio in 1850 that is close to your information. All of the Kennicutt/Kinnecutt surnames that I have looked at in 1850 have had New York as their birth state
1850 US Census for Sandusky County, Ohio, District No 132, Green Creek, Page 425 B
473/485
Alfred Kinnicutt, 45, M, Carpenter & Joiner, NY
Electra Kinnicutt, 44, F, NY
Elizabeth Kinnicutt, 18, M (oops), NY
Marth(?) A. Kinnicutt, 15, F, NY
Hellen(?) Kinnicutt, 11, F, NY(the Whitaker's directly above, and also from NY, have a 3 year old with the same first name, also not easily readable)
John Kinnicutt, 7, M, NY
Emma Kinnicutt, 4, M, NY
David Arnold, 21, M, NY, Carpenter (there is a Hannah Arnold with the Brock family, two families down)
474/486
William Hamer, 60, M, Farmer, NY
Phrona(?) Hamer, 58, F, NY
Jemima Hamer, 33, F, NY
Wm Kinnicutt, 16, M, Laborer, NY
Christina Click, 32, F, NY
Harriet Click, 6, F, NY
475/487
Benjamin Brock, 24, M, Farmer, NY
Sally Brock, 24, F, NY
Armond S. Brock, 5, M, NY
David A. Brock, 4/12, M, NY
Hannah Arnold, 7, F, NY
There are a lot of trades people around the Kinnicutts (Carpenter & joiner, Cooper, Market, Grocery, Teamster, etc.)
Sandusky is at the end of lake Erie, just below Michigan, which might explain George Kinnicutt (37) and William Kinnicutt (24) from New York being in Michigan in 1850.Sandusky also sits on three Ohio migration trails.

A possible origin/landing is Cattaraugus County, New York (New Albion, Page 29B) at the other end of lake Erie (Leander Kinnicutt, 26 and John Kinnicutt, 30).There are also Kinnicutts listed for Rensselaer and Saratoga counties in New York (far eastern edge and adjoining).

In Sandusky county in 1850 is an Oliver Grover (54) with a daughter Isabelle (13).It is the same district but one township over (Ballsville).1850 US Census for Sandusky County, Ohio, District No 132, Ballsville, Page 436A 624/635.The next family is also a Grover (Cyrus).John and Truman Grover (Page 447) are neighbors of the Leach family.Zena Leach (34) has a daughter Joanna (7) that is a possible for your Jennie.
Lots to look at in the Kennicutt/Kinnicutt lines.
Good hunting, Frank
