I am researching my Brosnahan family from County Cork, Ireland, settled in Illinois in the 1860s. Father, Cornelius/Con, worked on Illinois Central Railroad. Their youngest daughter, Mary, married Joseph McMahon in 1906, and then in 1912 in Pontiac, IL, married Paul Anthony Williams, a "loan agent" from Peoria. At some point they moved to Beatrice, Nebraska until at least 1931 (when Mary's mother who was living with them, passed on), then Mary and Paul moved to California, LA and/or Merced, California. Mary had son Joseph McMahon by her first marriage. I am seeking information on children of both of her marriages and hopefully some descendant named Williams or McMahon is seeking their lost Irish heritage? I have the family in Ireland going back to 1800 thus far and will be delighted to share. Please contact me?
