My great grandfather , Alexander Logan, was born Feb.9, 1843 in VA. Iknow his fathers name was also Alexander Logan but his birthdate and place are unknown. My great grandfather was supposedly raised in Ohio and joined the Union army. While he was in the army his father moved the family to Nebraska where my g-granfather joined them after his service. He then moved to Illinois where he married Sarah Elizabeth Russell on Mar.1,1871 or 76 in Murphysboro, IL. They resided in Lincoln until their deaths. If anyone can help me get past my great grandfather I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks
