I live near Valparaiso,Nebrasaka, but those names do not sound familiar. Valparaiso is a very small town (approx 400-500 people). There is a catholic church there (Sts Mary's & Joseph Catholic Church-address is 637 Iver St. ph 402-784-6831). Also, the Catholic Chancery (offices for the Lincoln dioceese)is located in Lincoln, NE at 3400 Sheridan Blvd. ph 402-488-0921. I believe they have baptism and marriage records of all persons belonging to the catholic church in the lincoln diocees, and that is a large portion of the state of Nebraska. There is one other church in Valparaiso that I know of, not sure if it is Methodist or Lutheran. Hope this helps. Also, some other small towns surrounding Valparaiso are; Agnew (unicorporated town), Touhy (unincorporated) and Success (unincorporated). all within a 5-10 radius of valparaiso. And Valparaiso used to be called Vally of Paradise (not sure when they changed the name). Good Luck and I hope this gives you a lead. Let me know if there is anything else you'd like to know about Valparaiso, and I'll try to get you the answers!! Jen
