Dorothy Lee Roseleaf, 85, Bettendorf, died Tuesday, Aug. 15, 1995, at Genesis Medical Center, East Campus, Davenport.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Friday at McGinnis, Chambers and Sass Funeral Home, Bettendorf. Burial is in Davenport Memorial Park.
Visitation is 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday. A memorial fund has been established.
The former Dorothy Chapman was born March 9, 1910, in Quincy, the daughter of David and Dorothy DuVall Chapman. She married the late Charles E. Roseleaf May 5, 1934, in Davenport.
She worked at the former R.A. Moritz Co. for 47 years, retiring in 1975.
She was a charter member of Asbury United Methodist Church, Bettendorf, past president of the Parent-Teachers Association, a former Girl Scout leader and member of Bettendorf Lionels and was active in the former Hilltop Boys Club, Bettendorf.
She enjoyed crafts, flowers, reading mysteries, traveling and watching sports such as basketball, football, baseball and soccer. She bowled until she was 81.
Survivors include daughters, Darlene Roseleaf and Betty Anderson, both of Bettendorf; granddaughters, Tracy and Darcy; great-grandchildren, Tryca, Tygan and Daycara; and special friends, Bernelda and Brenda Jacobsen, Davenport. A
son, Charles ``Skip\'\' Roseleaf Jr., is deceased.
Betty Lee Anderson, 70, Bettendorf, died Friday, Jan. 25, 2008, after a brief battle with cancer.
Services are 11 a.m. Wednesday at McGinnis-Chambers, Bettendorf. Visitation is 4-7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial is in Davenport Memorial Park.
She was born Nov. 4, 1937, in Davenport, to Charles and Dorothy Chapman Roseleaf. She married Buddy L. Anderson Sept. 2, 1967.
Surviving are her husband; daughters, Tracy Lee and Darcy Lee, Bettendorf; grandchildren, Tryca, Tygan, Talye and Daycara; sister, Darlene Roseleaf, Bettendorf.
