Willard J. and Harriett "Hattie" Ellen Clay Whiteman
Posted by: Kay Patterson (ID *****9598) Date: January 13, 2013 at 15:00:36

I am searching for descendants of Willard J. and Harriett (Hattie) Ellen Clay Whiteman who were married on February 26, 1936 possibly in Nebraska. Hattie was the daughter of James Earl Clay. He was the son of Seth H. and Margaret Patterson Clay who lived in Omaha, Nebraska. Margaret was the daughter of Robert and Margaret Kellenbeck Patterson who was adopted by a Williams family in Galesburg, Knox County, IL when her mother died in 1866. I have been searching for years for Robert Patterson and hope a descendant somewhere has information about him and where he is buried! Willard J. Whiteman was the son of Clyde A. and Maud Whiteman who are buried at Sunset Hills Cemetery, Bozeman, Gallatin County, Montana. I know that Willard and Hattie Whiteman settled in Bozeman right after their marriage but I do not know where they went from there, who their children are, and where they are buried if deceased. Any information would be greatly appreciated about the Pattersons, Clays, Kellenbecks, and Whitemans!
