Sarah Clementine Hall was born in Mt. Vernon, Indiana, on Nov. 16, 1858; where she lived till the age of 16 yrs., from there she went to Ill., where she remained until she was married to Mr. P.J. Walsh May 5, 1879. In the year 1881 Mr. and Mrs. Walsh moved to Neb. In the year of 1883 they settled on the farm 3 miles south east of Belgrade where she still lived at the time of her death, Feb. 10, 1921, at the age of 62 years, 2 mo. 25 days. She leaves to mourn her loss, One brother, Lucian A. Hall, of Evansville, Indiana; one sister, Lucy Hall, Mt. Vernon, Ind.; one sister, Mrs. Mary Depuy, of Belgrade; and her children, Mrs. J.E. Martin, Boone, Neb.; Mr. Patrick Walsh; James A., Mary E., Theresa A., [and Lucy A.] all of Belgrade; and Mrs. Sarah M. Babbitt, of Cedar Rapids.

Mrs. Horace Babbitt Passes Away
The people of this community were saddened Sunday by the news of the death of Mrs. Horace Babbitt, who passed away at St. Mary's hospital, Columbus, about 5:30 o'clock Sunday evening. She had been in poor health the past year, but her condition became serious about a month ago with a complication of diseases. Besides her husband, she leaves 11 children, the youngest 16 months of age. Funeral services were held Wednesday morning from the Catholic church at Fullerton. Sarah Margaret Walsh, the youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Patrick Walsh, was born Feb. 20, 1890, near Belgrade, Nebr., and departed this life Jan. 14th, 1934, at the age of 43 years, 10 months and 24 days.
Mar. 22, 1912, she was married to Horace R. Babbitt and to this union 12 children were born, 8 boys and 4 girls. Edward died at the age of three years. She was a patient and devoted wife and mother and her going has brought sadness to the hearts of her many relatives and friends.
Besides her husband and children she leaves to mourn her going, four sisters - Mrs. Jack Martin [= Catherine], Mrs. Earl Boyd, Mary and Theresa Walsh; two brothers, James and Patrick Walsh.

Mrs. H. R. Babbitt Dies
Mrs. Horace R. Babbitt, 44 residing on a farm near Belgrade, died Sunday evening at the St. Mary's hospital in Columbus. Mrs. Babbitt suffered a slight stroke in December and on Monday of last week was taken to the St. Mary's hospital. She is survived by her husband and eleven children, all at home, one son having preceded her in death.
She also leaves two brothers, Patrick Walsh of Monroe and James Walsh of Belgrade and four sisters, Mamie Walsh, Mrs. Earl Boyd and Theresa Walsh, all of Cedar Rapids and Mrs. Kate Martin of Greeley. Funeral services were held Wednesday at the St. Peter's Catholic church in Fullerton with burial in the Fullerton cemetery beside her oldest son who died 17 years ago. Fr. Virgil Walkowiak officiated at the funeral rites.
