Hi Michael,
What a lovely invitation to the Smitheram clan! I hope it will be found by relatives who would enjoy attending the reunion.

As far as encouraging forum members to help with the genealogy: Can you narrow your request a bit? You clearly know a lot already (bravo!). This makes it hard, however, for a helper to figure out what to add. No helper wants to get the dreaded reply "I already have that" after a morning of ancestor hunting on someone's behalf. (I know YOU would never say that!)

You mention being descended from Methodist minister William Norman Smitheram (born 21 July 1900 in Cornwall, England; died 27 April 1980 in Hooper, Dodge, Nebraska, USA). You don't mention his parents. Are his parents on the list of Generation 2 Smiherams, below? Are you excluding that family from this search? (I am guessing you have the most research done on your immediate line.)

Nice to see that you have made a Find-a-Grave memorial at Hooper Cemetery for Rev. Smitheram. That memorial includes an obituary that states he married in England and immigrated in 1921, lived in Kansas, then migrated to Nebraska in 1935. The obituary also states he has a surviving sister (Maude Cooper) in England. So perhaps his parents are still in England as well?

Who else of this family immigrated? And when? and went where? If you know, that would be a great aid to your helpers. If you don't know - fabulous - finding out becomes a focus for them.

Generation 1

Henry Smitham/Smitheram (1838-1893)
married
Bolinda Ann Taylor (1844- )

They may have immigrated and/or some of their children may have immigrated to the USA from Cornwall, England.

Generation 2, 6 children:

1. John Henry Smitheram (1864-1937)
wife Jane Wiklliams (SP?)
2. William George Smitheram (1866-1949)
wife Tryphena Roberts (1862-1914))
3. Elizabeth Ann Smitheram(1870- )
husband William James Mitchell (1863- )
4. James Thomas Smitheram (1874-1947)
wife Alice Ann Cock(1873-1935)
5. Albert Ernest Smitheram (1876-1957)
wife Polly Westlake Northey (1889-1952)
6. Beatrice Mary Smitheram (1878-1924)
husband William Thomas Cock
