Thank you very much for your response to my post and questions about anyone helping me. I have some information on some of these people but not on all of them and really need to complete the family "history" before putting anything into the bok. I had to stop researching for health reasons and am now getting back to "hopefully finishing the STOUFFER RESEARCH. I have my sister working with me at this time and that helps a lot but there are still some loose ends. here ae some things I am looking for: I have nothin on Mary J. Stouffer and very little on Isaiah Stouffer listed om the 1800 census. As for Robert, Deliliah and Catherine, I have some information about Deliliah coming to Pennsylvania and applying for a delayed birth certificate and living in or near Natrona Heights, Pennsylvania. Other than that I don't have any info about her. Was seeking info on her when she was in Nebraska and to find out if she stayed in Pennsylvania and where. and about her family. Am also looking to find old photo's of any of the folks that are mentioned in this entire Stauffer family to add to my book. I have tried to collect as many as possible, even if they ae just newspaper articles etc... I am trying to find out information about the famil(ies) work history, school's they attended etc... You have the 1900 Census, I have that Census and have some information about William Stouffer that I just recieved about a month ago. I have William and Elizabeth's 50th wedding announcement and photo of them in a newspaper article (that isn't very legible) and also have their death notice's. I don't have any information on their son, Chester, daughter's Marjorie, Christiana, Elizabeth, Annacloide. Your question about the list of children in 1880. I am not sure but thought they had at least 7 children but as many as 10. I have information on Madison's father and mother from Washington township, armstrong couty, pennsylvania and a couple of maps (year 1876) that have some STO(a)uffer's listed on them. there are a number of Sto(a)uffer families who came from this township and I am unable to trace any one of the entire family back from that area. the farthest back I have been able to go was 1826 and that year varies between 1826-29 depending where you look, and it is about the same Samuel Stouffer! I really would like to find out where this entire family originated from but without finding out where they were before Washington, township it makes it hard to go farther back. The Zellefrow family who is connected to the family through Samuel Stouffer who married Cora Zellefrow who had a nephew named Herbert "Herbie" Zellefrow who passed away in 2006 was a historian about the families and some history of the area where these twofamilies lived in Washington township told me about the samuel stouffers there and that is how i found out about the ones that went to Nebraska. Unfortunately he passed away just 3 months after I met him. so there you have it. and I know you will think I am a very confussed person but am just trying to put together a family that I really never even heard of even though they are related through my father. But since there was no one who talked about family members from that era that I can remember and no one left to talk to about this subject I am left to try to findout things on the internet so I thank you very much for your response. susan billman Notify Administrator about this message?
