I was born and raised in Chadron. The ticket station probably was in the depot. The depot was located of course, next to the railroad. Across the street from the depot were houses. This would have been on the 100 block of Bordeaux and King Streets. The depot has been demolished. I do have pictures of the depot and freight office as well as some pictures of men standing in front of a train in the late 1890's I believe. Chadron was formed in 1885 and the railroad played a major part of the towns formation. At that time the railroad made it to Chadron.
Houses still stand on these streets. Many of them are probably the original ones. Questions, let me know. May be able to help you if you are interested.
