Thank you for your reply Mr. Kerwin.

I'm trying to expand the Mohr family tree beyond the borders of the United States.

My maternal grandfather, Emil Mohr, was born 7/25/1883 in Stahl am Tarlyk, Russia, Samara Region. It is said he was christened in infancy in Stahl. He died 3/19/1970 in Belleville, Republic, Kansas and is buried in the Chester Cemetary in Chester, NE. He married Katherine Margaret Stroh from Frank, Russia 9/3/1904 and they lived a few years in Lincoln, NE before moving to Chester NE where he lived the rest of his life. They had 12 children together, three of whom died as infants.

I can go no further until I have information on his parents who I was told were born in Russia. I haven't any birthdates for them and only their first names.
His father was Jacob (common German/Russian name) and his mother's name is listed as Barbara. I'm assuming that's her first name however their have been instances in my research where that name appeared as a last name.

Any further assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Connie Waller (Mohr)
