Someone donated an old suitcase to our local museum (Corona, NM)...inside it was a beautiful handmade, white dress, with a note attached:

Mable Richey, Salutorian, 1906
Hastings Nebraska
1312 W. 6th Street

then, it has some instructions about how to adjust the waistline of the dress, etc....

we have no clue why that ended up in Corona NM, and we are sure some descendent of Mable Richey would love to have it; if not, surely someone has some information about this person?
