My maternal grandfather was born Harrison Franklin Porter at Seward, NE, Oct. 9, 1887. His mother's maiden name was Sarah Ann Volts and I am reasonably sure that Volts=Volz, phonetically. Can you establish any geographic connection with Seward, Nebraska.
