I'm looking for any information on my grandfathers birth parents. He was born on December 27th, 1927 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Three days later he was adopted. I recently got some information off of his birth certificate and have been trying to track down info about his birth parents. This is what I've found so far.
Mother: Mary Bradley
Birth: abt 1905 in York Co., Nebraska
Father: Frank Brooks
Birth: abt 1900 in Illinios
I have found census records for a Mary Bradley. Her father was William H Bradley (b. abt. 1859 in Iowa). Her mother was Bertha Helimch (Helimck?) (b. abt. 1870 in Iowa). Mary had three siblings:
Robert Bradley (b. abt. 1903 in Nebraska)
Louise Bradley (b. abt. 1906 in Nebraska)
William Bradley (b. abt. 1909 in Nebraska)
It looks like the Bradley family lived in Nebraska until sometime after 1920. Then they moved to Boulder, Colorado. Mary Bradley was not living with them in the 1930 census. I can't find any info after that! Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.
