Julie, No relation but wanted to let you know what I found. If you go to familysearch.org and type in Henry Rucklos it will bring up several generations of Augusts family. I searched the census back and found that August was a son of Henry and Friedericke Dauner Rucklos. In 1870 the family was in Adams Co, Union township, Indiana with three children, Louise, 8,Emiline 3 and Sarah 1. August was b in 1881 and one of the last if not the last of the children. In 1880 they are in Thayer Co, Ne. with Emilie 14, Sarah 11, Ferdinand 9, Edward 7, Hannah 5 all were b. in Indiana. Martha 4, Lidia 2 and Henry 8 months were all b. in Ne. which means they came from Indiana to Ne about 1875. In 1900 listed as RUCKLOSS. Lydia 22, Henry 20 and August 18 were the only children listed. The 1910 census says she had 12 children with eleven living at the time. 1910 Henry Ruckles with Friedericke and son Henry in Thayer Co, NE. Says he immigrated in 1866 but cant be so if he married in 23 August 1860 in Decatur, Adams Co, Ind. This also came from familysearch.org. some of the name spellings for this family that I found were Ruckles, Ruckloss, Ricklos Good luck and hope this helps.
