Dee Dee,
Thanks so much for posting! I wish I had spotted it earlier. I have a copy of an SSN application of Sept. 25, 1939 for James Richard Mansier. He listed his wife as Hattie DeSive and the residence as Stuart, NE. I wanted to obtain a marriage license and maybe divorce, but didn't have enough information to do so. Mansier is my wife's deceased father. According to the April 15, 1910 census, there was a Hattie Fran DeSive in Holt County, Stuart Township, NE, who was 3 months old. My questions are: what is your father's name? When/where was he born? Is there a chance Mansier is his father? If so, then I will have more questions. Thanks again,
Jim
