Mary, I would appreciate any help you can give me. I did try HQ thru a Library I use but no luck. Here is the info--

Mason Willard PIERCE (was his real name but he also used W W PIERCE & Willard PIERCE as lied about his age to get into the military for CW) born 1845 NY & wife was Sarah C (HUFFMAN) PIERCE born 1851 NY? --they came to Seward County NE in 1869 (according to records there) & were in N Precinct the whole time. Children would be-- E.W. born 1868 IL, Emmet born 1870 NE & died 174, Lela M born 1874 NE & Maud A born 1879 NE.

I have tried all kinds of names but have had NO luck. Mason is my 2nd Gt. Grandpa. Thanks so much.
