Wow, with all the info you provided I have no idea why I even looked.

Wild shot, real wild shot!! Try Franklin Co. NE. Spelled many ways, Strongman/Strongmann/Strangman/Strangmann. Listed as Strongman in the 1885 census but after 1885 mostly Strangman, George W. from Germany, many of the posted census says wife Anna was from Germany to but real census says she was from Ireland, several children all b. in NE.
