I am the great granddaughter of Wenzl Diez and Theresia Bretschneider Diez. They were born in Bohemia, but both stated their nationality as German. They settled in Knox County, Nebraska near Verdigre around 1876. My grandfather was their youngest son Carl Hugh Diez.
