Vicki Beings I tickled you with that, James E. Harrison may have been married twice, but I haven't been able to totally prove it yet other than from the census and then it may be that wife used a middle name after 1860 but age don't match to good and it seems the childrens ages kept pretty close. 1860 census of Clark Co. AL. had a census taker that got some extra put in, says, James E. Harrison age 34 was born in Lowndes Co. AL. and wife at that time was, Martha age 27 born in Coffee Co. AL. and children listed, John age 13 born in Coffee Co. AL. Mary ?O. age 11 born in Coffee Co. AL. Fredonia age 7 born in Coffee Co. AL. James age 6 born in Buttler Co. AL. Delila age 4 born in Butler Co. AL. Sarah age 2 born in Clarke Co. AL. So it looks like John and Mary have left home by 1870, Fredonia, James and Della/Delila are at home yet in 1870, Sarah is not listed in 1870, may have died and with a different wife in 1870, Martha may have died to. Anyway you still have some work ahead of you. Good luck and happy hunting. If I can help with some census info yell at me. Cullen Notify Administrator about this message?
