I am looking for info about an obituary and place of burial for a Sandra L. Nichols. Don't know the maiden name of Sandra. I found a Sandra Nichols on the Social Security Death Index with a birthdate of October 7, 1948 and a death date of August 1984. The last residence was not specified. The Social Security card was issued in Washington.
If this is the Sandra L. Nichols I am looking for, she would have been married to a George O. Nichols who was born in 1941 and died in 1979. George died in Yuma, Yuma County, Arizona, but was brought back to and is buried at Lincoln, Lancaster County, Nebraska at Lincoln Memorial Park Cemetery. A Sandra L. has a plate on the headstone on George's grave with the birthdate of 1948. There is not a death date plate attached to the headstone.
George's dad was Elmer Vernon Nichols, who was married to my Dad's aunt (Cecil Jane Ogden). Elmer is buried in Hutchinson, Reno County, Kansas where this Nichols family is from.
If anyone is researching this Nichols family, I would appreciate any help you might be able to give.
