The Chariton Leader, Chariton, Iowa

From away out in Nebraska, where the thermometer sinks out of sight every winter, comes a nice piece of wedding cake and a short notice announcing the following pleasant event:
MARRIED. -- At the residence of the bride's parents, at Central City, Nebraska, MR. ARTHUR BOWLES and MISS ALICE, daughter of ALEXANDER FOREMAN and lady, formerly of Mt. Pleasant, Iowa.
MISS ALICE was for some time a resident of this city, and by her gentle and amiable disposition won a host of warm friends, all of whom will join with us in wishing her a wedded life worthy of her true merits.
