You wrote Helen may have a brother Howard, see 1930 census. Consider posting a transcription if you have a census record. In this case, I don't know what 1930 census record you mean. There is a Howard Harding in the area but he's not Helen's brother. Somehow the person you mean isn't coming up on my searches.
