Patton-Dallegge--Butler & Lincoln, NE--1860-1930

Franklin Abner Patton was born in Vermilion Co., Illinois to Samuel and Anna Frazier Patton in 1865. The family moved to Hardin county, Iowa in the 1870's. In 1880, Samuel Patton moved to Surprise, Butler Co., Nebraska where he died in 1906. Samuel Patton was born in Jefferson co., Tenn in 1823 to Israel and Hannah Mills Patton.

Samuel's son, Franklin, also moved to Butler Co. and married a Matilda Dallegge of Prussia in 1887. Franklin Patton eventually moved to Linclon, and died there in 1937.

In a letter from a cousin dated in 1936, there is a reference to the original Patton family bible brought from Tennessee in the 1820's that was in possession of either the Dallegge's or Pattons then living in Lincoln.

Does anyone have any knowledge of a Patton family bible existing in a family or historical library in the Lincoln area covering the family of Israel Patton and descendants?
