Michael - Here is the information I was able to gather. James Avery STRONG born 11 Feb 1873 in Ogden, IL, son of James and Margaret STRONG. died 18 Oct 1951 in Hastings, NE buried Aurora. Married (1) Sarah Iva CLUTTER, 18 Jun 1893 and (2) Frances WHITE 5 Mar 1912. daus. Lela TORGERSON, Helen BRUMLEY; sons Lester, Kenneth and James.

Frances M. STRONG born 1 Jan 1877 in Centerville, IA. dau of John A. GLASS and Eliza KINNAMON. died 27 Feb 1959 in Aurora, NE and buried there. Married (1) John A. WHITE 16 Mar 1894 and (2) James STRONG 5 Mar 1912. sons; Warren, James; daus. Hannah DUNHAM, Helen BRUMLEY.

There was a Jonas D. STRONG that homesteaded in Giltner, Hamilton Co., NE. He was member of Co. K, 17th IL Cav. from 2 Jan 1864 - 22 Dec 1865. In the 1900 census he is listed in Hamilton Twsp. as being born in New York 1844. His wife was Chloe also born New York 1844. This may be an uncle to the James Avery.

Connie
