This is a followup to your Greeley County Genealogy Forum. My husband, Joseph Neis, is the son of Fred Neis referred to in Generation No. 3. Fred (also known as Ferdinand) had three brothers, Tony who lived in Stacyville, Frank in Edgeley SD and Ben in Watertown WI, all older than Fred. He also had one sister, Gertrude, married to Joe Hackenmiller in Stacyville. All are deceased and I don't know the dates. Nor do we know much about the families of Ben and Frank. Fred married Augusta Blake in Stacyville and they had ten children, several are deceased.
