I have some history on this family, but it buried. I would be willing to find it for you. Michael was one of the first to settle the Greeley area. He started his homestead and his family came by train to Grand Island. However, two children had died of whooping cough in Pittston, but the letter had not yet gotten to Michael. He learned of their deaths as the family stepped off the train.
