Does the Emibas emigration date refer to the date on which an individual declared his/her intent to emigrate, when he/she actually left the village or Sweden or, perhaps, when someone else reported him/her gone?

Or could it possibly be any of the above.

I don't mean to sound "picky" but prefer not to say a person emigrated "on" a certain date if that might not be the case.
