Hannah Swan --- 1914-15, Hildreth, NE

In 1915 an elderly Hannah Swan was living in Hildreth. I believe she was married to a Daniel Swan from Ohio. Her first marriage may have been to a Henry Frits(z), also from Ohio. I think she my be the sister of my great grandfather, Osiah Moser. The family moved from Pennsylvania to Ohio about 1850. Hannah is found in the 1850 Ohio census living in Pike County with her parents. I found her name in some correspondence that belonged to my grandfather that was written in 1914 or 1915. In one letter she was described as an ill, elderly person living in Hildreth. Nebraska. It was also mentioned in that letter that she had supplied the writer of the letter with a family tree. Some one in the family may have infomation about the family she has passed down. In the letter I also found the name Wilbur Frits but I don't know who he is. I am assuming he is related to Hannah in some way.

I have the names of Osiah and his sister Hannah's parents, and would like to go back further. Their mother's family has been reseached by othe's, but their father's family is still a mystery. I have some leads, but no concrete evidence.

I would like to make contact with descendants of Hannah and share information. Right now, based on information I have found, I am assuming Hannah is my greatgrandfather's sister. This still needs factual verification. I have a known record of Hannah's date of birth and location, and the same information for my great grandfather. Their parents are named. I have also found information on other sibblings of Osiah and Hannah. I am willing to share and compare information, and am looking forward to hearing from some of my "Moser" cousins.

P.S. My grandfather moved east from Beatrice, Nebraska about 1895 to attend medical school. He had been working as a male nurse. Osiah's family lived in Madison County, Iowa from the mid 1850's to the late 1870's. Then lived in Jewell County, Kansas.
