My husband is a descendant of Benjamin Goldsmith who died and was buried in Geneva, NE in 1880. I know that he was living with his daughter Rebecca Bickel and her husband at the time of his death. Bejamin had lived in Preble County, Ohio prior to his moving in the mid 70's to Geneva. Would there be any way that a mention would be made of his parents? I know from the Preble County, Ohio history books that his parents were John Goldsmith and Mary Joanna Bridge, but need a primary source instead of this secondary source. I would love to have an obituary that names his parents. You see, I am trying to get John and Joanna into the First Families of Preble County, Ohio. If anyone has a suggestion that I haven't tried, I would appreciate any help. Thanking you in advance,
