Recently, I found an ad in the Omaha Daily Bee, 1872, which reads; "PROF. THEODORE DECKER, Organist of the Romasn Catholic Cathedral. Teacher of Music on the Organ" Address is given as follows: Southeast corner of Harney and 8th sts.
He also was the director of the Omaha Philharmonic society in the years 1872 and 1873. Concerts were held in the old Creighton Hall at 11th and Faraam Streets.
I believe that he may indeed by my great grandfather and I would appreciate any assistance in locating the history of either of these locations. Any knowledge of Professor Decker would also be appreciated.
