I don't have any info about your request for help on the Omaha (Douglas County, Nebraska) message board at genealogy.com. However, I have a suggestion. I think you might find that other researchers will be able to respond to your queries if you put the names of the people you are looking for in the subject line of your query. You could also add a location and date, such as : Sarah J. BROWN, Omaha, 1920-1930.
You can also make progress on your own with the info you have. Try the online white pages of any phone directory. Try looking at the Social Security Death Index to see if any of the people have already passed away. This is accessed from the main page of www.rootsweb.com. I am sure you can make progress yourself on this, even being located in VA. I did my Nebraska research from New Hampshire for 6 years and got quite a lot accomplished. Good luck,
