Is there anyone that would know anything about indentured children from the years 1880 to 1885 in Omaha, douglas, County. This family lived on I think it was 18th & Burt Street in Omaha. My grandmother and her brother became foster children following the death of their mother and the failing health of their father. My grandmother's brother died not long after his placement. My Grandmother lived the rest of her young life with the Hagerstrom family. They moved to Shickley, Nebraska and then onto Plattsmouth, Nebraska. If there is anyone that would know if there is any informaiton on children who's parents could no longer care for them in the County Records please let me know what and where to look for these records.
Thank you!
J. Olson
