Does anyone have easy access to the Omaha papers for 1927. I have recently found an old letter written by my father which states that he went to his uncle's funeral, probably on July 23, 1927 though it may have been as early as July 16. The letter states that the uncle's wife had died sometime before.
I believe this was S.T. Baker who had married his father's sister Mary (Molly). They had several daughters: Bonnie (died young), Crystal, Marjorie and Bess.
Since the funeral was held on either the 16th or 23rd of July, I presume the death would have occurred sometime between July 10 and July 21 (at the latest).
I would truly appreciate it if anyone can check this for me.
