Voegele & Dinning-Confectioners 1890
Posted by: John Denning Date: December 14, 2000 at 19:56:52

In the 1889 and 1890 Omaha, Douglas Co., Nebraska Directories there is a listing for Voegele & Dinning - Confectioners, located at 1110 Howard in Omaha. One of the owners was Robert J. DINNING who resided at 2501 or 2510 St. Marys Ave.

Does anyone know anything about Robert J. DINNING ?

Also listed are four BOKAMPERS: Charles, a laborer; Miss Ella, a helper at N.K. Fairbank Co.; and at the same address a Louis who is a laborer; and Fred, a salesman for the Patterson Oil Burner Co.

Does anyone know anything about the BOKAMPERs ?

Two DENNING males are listed: Ross, a helper at W.E. Lucas; and William E.

Does anyone know anything about the DENNINGs ?

I am a descendant of the DINNING/DENNING line and one of my DENNINGs married Gottlieb BOKAMPER.

Any help most appreciated.
