I am having a very hard time finding ANY info on my great grandmother, ANNA MARIE HEINSEN.She lived with her parents on a farm, their first names are not listed any where, but her maiden name was HANSEN. I haven't been able to locate them on the census under HEINSEN for 1920 or 1900. They are sounexed with Hansen, and their are hundreds. I know that they was in Douglas co. between 1900 and 1920. My grandmother was born in 1906 in Florence. Anna married 3 times while in Ne. First to _____ Kerr, probably late 1800's, had two children, Katherine and Chester. Katherine was a nurse who died durring the influenza epidemic, leaving behind a husband John_____? and twin sons, NORMAN and RAYMOND. Chester died in CA. around 1950. Next ANNA married my great grandfather, RASMUS LARSEN, who lived in Kennard, Washington co. at the time of the 1900 census. They had three daughters, Irma b. 1903, Flora (my grandmother) born 2-14-1906, and Juanita b. 1910. My grandmother completed 10th grade at a school in Omaha, probably around 1920. Anna then married JOHN GEORGE LOHLEIN. His father and uncle are listed in the 1890 buisness list of the gazetter as owning a meat market on Vinton Ave. George and Martin LOHLEIN. At this point they all moved to CA. I think, at least they all ended up in Ca. in the same area. Chester, the three daughter, Anna John Lohlein, and Rasmus Larsen.
I know that this is a lot of info for a posting but I have had no luck so far. Maybe some nice person out there reading this can give me a suggestion for what to do next. I had some one look up marriage records, and found none for Anna in Douglas co. What do I do now?????
