"Last Sad Rites
The funeral services of Thomas Verner Buckley were held in the M. E. church, Rev. D. D. Forsyth preaching the discourse. The remains were taken in charge by the Gen. Custer camp S. of V., assisted by members of the Lexington camp. Members of the G. A. R. and Epworth League joined in the line of march from his late residence to the church. After the services at the church the remains were conveyed to the South Side cemetery, where services were held by the Sons of Veterans. The bereaved family have the deepest sympathy of the entire vicinity.
