Frederick & Christina Thisius

I can't tell you much about Frederick Thisius, but I'll give you what I have on Christina. She and her sister, Louisa, my great-grandmother emigrated from Germany on their own, sometime between 1880 and 1884, since my great grandmother was married on February 13, 1885. Christina may have been a nickname, since her real name was Wilhemina. They also had a brother, Henry, born: February 10, 1858. I have no records that their parents also emigrated, just the two sisters. Brother's name came from Lutheran Church Books in Rodinghausen, Westfalen, Germany (Prussia). Frederick and Christina settled in Cuming County, even though they both were married in Dodge County. Hope this is of some help. If not, let me know.

Bev. Giles
