I'm looking for information on the Emil John Baptiste KAUFFMAN and Eva Catherine REITER families. Emil and Catherine lived in Valentine-Cherry-NE from 1921-1927 and again from 1940-1942. They owned and operated the Snow White Bakery in Valentine. Emil [12-SEP-1871 - 29-MAR-1942] and Catherine [12-OCT-1884 - 16-JUN-1965] were married on 18-JAN-1908 in Norfolk-Madison-NE. They had 3 children: Madelaine, Leo, and Evelyn. Catherine's brother, Leo "Blackie" Reiter, sometimes lived with them. Emil and Catherine are buried in Mt.Hope Cemetery in Valentine.
