PRESTON Family in Hartington

I am looking for info on the descendants of JACOB & MARTHA PRESTON who lived in Hartington somewhere in the time frame of 1900-1920. Jacob died near Hartington in January (year unknown - possible about 1908). His obituary did not have the year supplied. He was killed instantly in a accident which involved a runaway broncho team about five miles south of Hartington near his home where he farmed.

I would like to try to find out where Jacob was buried, and any other info pertaining to his wife and children. The last census I was able to find his wife Martha was in 1920.

Their known children were: FRANK PRESTON, LUELLA DOUD, WILLIAM PRESTON, ANNIE, SAMUEL PRESTON, BENJAMIN PRESTON, ALONZO PRESTON (twins) ALFONZO PRESTON, and JOEL PRESTON.

Other families that tie into this family were HARE, DOUD, and WINN. Some of these children were later found living elsewhere in the area, but remained in Cedar County, NE.

Jacob Preston was born in New Jersey, and his wife Martha FULLER was born in Pennsylvania. They lived in Illinois and Iowa prior to moving to Nebraska. Most of their children were born in Iowa.

Would love to hear from anyone who may have connections to these families.
